A Final Note

Why I Built Stage Buddy

The burning desire to be better is what makes us better. I woke up in the middle of 2020 and decided I wanted to get better. Phone was still ringing and I was still lighting up stages. I just knew there was more room for improvement.

In search for performance-enhancing tools, I ran into an avalanche of writing workshops. "Where are the true performance workshops?", I asked. I decided to take matters into my own hands and begin breaking down the science of live performance using the thousands of hours of footage I had on myself.

Thus the methodology was born.

It became my mission to spread this knowledge to 100 poets in one year. About 9 months later, we not only completed that goal — the science exploded with new insights and pain points gathered from one-on-one sessions with a wide range of artists. From there, workshops, books, cheat sheets, and bootcamps were established.

Stage Buddy Premium and Stage Buddy AI are the two most recent — and most critical — developments to the ecosystem of performance intelligence.

And we are still just getting started.
